Wolf River Incident Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2025 by a dedicated group of Coast Guard veterans. We provide professional search and rescue services across Tennessee and surrounding regions.

Our Mission

To provide highly skilled, professional search and rescue services to locate missing persons in wilderness and urban environments, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, training, and operational excellence.

We are committed to serving our communities through volunteer dedication, continuous training, and collaboration with local, state, and federal emergency response agencies.

From Coast Guard veterans serving informally to an officially recognized non-profit organization

Group of Coast Guard veterans begin informal search and rescue operations in Tennessee

Team expands with additional volunteers and establishes training protocols

Successful completion of 50+ informal rescue missions

WRIG officially founded as 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

First official SAR mission deployment as registered non-profit

Waiel has led WRIG since its founding, bringing extensive experience from his Coast Guard service and emergency management background.

Former Coast Guard, K9 Handler, Technical Rescue Specialist, EMT-B

Omar oversees field operations and maintains our high standards of safety and professionalism, drawing from his military service experience.
